Last week I took the famly to check out the new Payson Temple located at 1495 S. 930 W. If you've never been through an LDS temple, now's your chance. The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is holding the temple open to the public through May 23, 2015. Open house tickets are available through an online reservation system or by calling 1-855-537-2000.
Open house tours begin with a 12-minute video providing an overview of temples and why they are significant to members of the Church. Following the video, a tour host will escort you through the temple, explaining the purpose of each room and answering questions as time allows. At the conclusion of the tour, you are invited to a reception area to have any further questions answered. Our kids started out very excited to see the inside of a temple so it was fun for them to have a chance to see inside. After about 2 minutes however, my middle daughter insisted that I carry her the rest of the way. There were a lot of stairs. It was absolutely beautiful inside and worth a visit. Once the opne house is finished it will no longer be open to the public so take advantage of the opportunity while you can.

A friend was raving about Rita's Gelati dessert so we decided to give it a try. I took the girls and we ordered ourselves some Gelati which is a mix of frozen custard with italian ice. I got the mango with vanilla custard and sure enough, it was delicious. I enjoy frozen custard but sometimes it lacks flavor. If you're that way then you'll love Gelati. A great mix of smooth custard with a punch of italian ice for added flavor. Anna got the cotten candy and Kate got the passion fruit. Mango was the way to go. #RitasIceUtah #RitasSpringFun Rita's has several location including American Fork, PRovo, Spanish Fork, Sandy and more. Check out their website at ritasice.com. The American Fork location is 598 W. Main St. 801.756.7318 open Mon-Thur 12-10pm and Fri - Sat 12pm - 11pm. Closed Sundays.
A new Sweeto Burrito just opened their doors last week in their new Orem location. You may have seen their food truck rolling around Utah County or their Provo store, now you can enjoy their burritos any time you're in Orem. They have a wide variety of crazy burritos ranging from The Big Country which has bacon, beef, onion rings, and buffalo sauce, to The Buff Chick which has buffalo chicken, tater tots, and cheddar cheese all wrapped up in a warm tortilla. I tried the Smokehouse and it was really good. When I went the place was packed and it took a good 20 minutes to get my burriot, but I'm looking forward to going back for another.

Their cult following around these parts seem to be growing and with good reason. They're crispy, fluffy, filled with cream, and delicious. They also sell croissants, empanadas, other tastey looking pastries, and even Inka Cola. Take your spouse or take the kids and enjoy. Last week was full of eggs, chocolates, food, friends, and parties. We're worn out. We wanted to say thank you to all who came and attended our client appreciation party last monday. It was wild and crazy and we ate over a thousand hot dogs and could've eaten even more. We were dissapointed the parachuting toys couldn't be dropped out of the helicopter for safety reasons (pilots made a last minute decision) but we think everyone still had a fun time. If we do it again next year we're debating if we should do the helicopter again or put the resources towards more eggs and more prizes. Any input would be welcomed. It would also open up the possiblity for different venues which could add some excitement. Let us know your thoughts so we can improve the event. Thanks again for coming.
