The Utah Cultural Celebration Center presents the 11th annual Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) community gathering. The free celebration features a variety of exciting, educational, and hands-on activities for the whole family, plus a chance to experience a folk art exhibit recognizing this significant and expressive Mexican holiday.
Open through December 14, 2014 at the Natural History Museum of Utah, this special exhibition will include 50 compelling photographs that were selected through a juried process from more than 1,400 entries. All photos represent Utah public lands and reflect the spirit of the Wilderness Act of 1964.This special exhibition is part of a larger national commemoration of the 50.

All registered runners get a complete Santa suit to run in (hat, beard, jacket, pants and belt). On Nov. 30 only, volunteers from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will be seated with members of the audience in the hall and lend their voices the chorus. In addition, around 75 singers from the University of Utah will sing from their seats among the audience on Dec. 1. On both evenings, Utah Opera Resident Artists will be featured soloists who share the stage with the orchestra and the Utah Symphony Chorus.
